How this site makes money

Tulum Ruins Tours may earn a commission when you book through a link on this site, at no extra cost to you. The price you pay is the operator's price; our commission comes out of their margin, not out of your fare.

What we are not

• We are not the Tulum archaeological zone, INAH, CONANP or Parque del Jaguar.
• We are not the ticketing authority. We cannot sell you the entrance fee.
• We are not the tour operator. Your contract is with them.

How tours are chosen and ordered

Operators cannot pay for placement or position. Tours are ordered by rating and review volume, and the featured three are chosen to span different departure points and different kinds of day — not by commission rate.

Where the figures come from

Prices, durations, ratings, review counts and inclusions are taken from each tour's own booking listing on Viator and reproduced as published. They are the operators' figures and they change without notice. Where a listing contradicts itself — and on the Tulum entrance fee several do — we say so on the tour's card rather than picking whichever version reads better.

Reviews shown on this site are paraphrases of real reviews left on the operators' booking listings, attributed to the traveller who wrote them. Nothing is invented and no rating is generated. Operator ratings appear as plain text and are labelled as the operators' own.
